Dr. Nan Negri, PhD, Autism Educational Consultant, Imagine a Child’s Capacity, Madison, Wisconsin

Dr. Negri has over thirty years experience as a teacher, trainer, and consultant in the field of autism. As a member of the National Personnel Training Team, Nan has provided a trainer of trainers model to programming for individuals with autism. She has written autism-related articles and co-authored a book on non-aversive behavior management strategies. Along with Kate McGinnity, she is the author of the exciting new book, Walk Awhile in My Autism (Cambridge Book Review Press). Currently, Nan is providing consultation to families, and direct treatment and yoga to individuals on the spectrum. She believes relationships and fun are the keys to learning for all of us.

Lisa Hoeme Lisa Hoeme, Director of Educational Partnerships, Autism Educational and Behavioral Consultant, Imagine a Child’s Capacity, Madison, Wisconsin

Lisa has a bachelor's degree in Rehabilitation Psychology and is currently pursuing a master's degree in Rehabilitation Counseling at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Lisa has been supporting individuals with autism and other developmental challenges for over seven years. She is currently the Director of the Educational Partnerships Program with Imagine a Child's Capacity, a non-profit agency located in Madison, WI. In addition to this role with ICC, she is also an Educational and Behavioral Consultant who supports several school districts in the state of Wisconsin. Lisa also has helped to develop ICC's group program and enjoys being a facilitator for the integrated play and social skills groups that ICC offers. Lisa worked with Integrated Development Services, an agency that provides in-home autism therapy for five years as a senior mentor, trainer, clinic coordinator and senior therapist. She has specific training in Discrete Trial Format, Applied Behavior Analysis, Functional Behavior Analysis, Positive Behavior Supports, DIR/Floortime, SCERTS Model, Linda-Mood Bell and augmentative communication strategies. Lisa also is a Certified Yogakids Facilitator and teaches individual and group Yoga sessions in homes, schools and the community. She is passionate about the integration of best practices of various disciplines to provide a meaningful and motivating life of learning for all, including herself.
